Hoover

The All-American vacuum company, Hoover, had a big problem. Even though Dyson’s suction power was weaker than Hoover’s, Dyson out sold them by marketing their design shrewdly. How did this happen? Hoover thought this British company could never erode a market leader so their weak advertising budget reflected this belief. Crazy, huh? I continue to be shocked but not surprised...

GO CLEAN GO! was pitch/new business work created to bring Hoover back. It’s a rallying cry for clean. A shout of encouragement for everyone who wants a cleaner house, office, city, world. It’s Hoover giving you the tools to take on dust bunnies, hairballs, the scrutiny of visiting in-laws — whatever life throws at you — and win. Letting you know, again and again, that Hoover loves clean as much as you do — and delivers it better than anyone.

I kept this in my portfolio because I am a clean freak, and it's my private battle.
